A Mother’s Heart:The Strength, the Sacrifice, and the Sacred Work of Love

Mother’s Day has a way of bringing a mix of emotions.

For some, it is joy and celebration. For others, it is tender—marked by grief, distance, or longing. And for many mothers, it is a quiet moment of reflection after giving so much of themselves for so long.

Because motherhood is not just a role.
It is a life of pouring out.

And yet, Scripture reminds us that this kind of love is deeply seen by God.
The Bible honors this kind of strength: “Strength and honour are her clothing; and she shall rejoice in time to come.”
Proverbs 31:25 (KJV)

Strength is not just what she does—it is what she wears daily, even when no one notices.

And yet, that strength often comes with hidden weariness.
